The Schoolie Schedule 2025

Well, the teams are locked in and the field is ripe with potential. We're stoked for Tournament Weekend and everything that comes with it... which brings us to our schedule of events!*

Tournament Week Schedule:

THURSDAY, MAY 15TH

  • 6pm: NEW Film Screening Event: Lefty, The Greatest of all Time.  Hosted by Bear’s Den at The West End Hyannis on Thursday, May 15th at 6pm (run time ~45 minutes).  We are excited to announce the screening of Renzetti’s Lefty Kreh Documentary.  Because there is limited space, this is first come, first serve event.  The Bear’s Den will start screenings at 6pm and will run them at hour intervals so that everybody who would like to attend will have a chance to catch this incredible film.  In addition, the restaurant and bar will be open during the screenings.

FRIDAY, MAY 16TH

  • 9am-2pm: ASGA would love to extend an invitation to its 4th Fisheries Science Symposium to all Cheeky Schoolie Tournament competitors! ASGA Symposiums are designed to further unify the angling community, fostering productive discussions and inspiring stewardship. The event is hosted at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA – located at 7 Mbl St, Woods Hole, MA 02543 Learn more and register here.

  • 11am - 1pm: Women's Event hosted by Cheeky Ambassador Abbie Schuster at West Dennis Beach.  All female-identifying anglers participating in Schoolie are welcome! This is a space to connect with the women’s fly fishing community.  Register here (it's FREE)! 

  • 5pm-9pm: Captain's Bag pickup at The West End (Hyannis, MA). You must pick up your bag and measuring device in person (only one team member needs to be present) and you cannot pick up for other teams. No Captain's Bag pickup will be available on the morning of the tournament. 

  • 6pm - 9pm: Captains Party at The West End (Hyannis, MA).

  • 7pm: Captain's Meeting at The West End (Hyannis, MA).

 

SATURDAY MAY, 17TH

  • 5:30am: Tournament start time.

  • 4:00pm: Tournament ends — digital scorecards are due by exactly 4:00 pm. No late submissions will be accepted.

  • 5pm - 8pm: Schoolie Awards Celebration at The West End (Hyannis, MA). Awards Ceremony will begin at approximately 6:30pm.
